Welcome

We are delighted to welcome you and your child to SKIPS PRE-SCHOOL.

We provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, where children will be encouraged to achieve their full potential in all areas of development, and where nursery life will be a fun, relaxed and positive experience. We aim to provide an environment that feels like home. SKIPS is a homely place to be.

We are situated in the heart of stunning countryside in Oldbury, Ightham. We have easy and safe access to the local park, school fields, playground, and nearby woodland and farmland. We are adjacent to Ightham Primary School with safe access via the Recreation Ground path at the rear of the premises.

We offer Pre-School childcare and education for children aged from 22 months to school age (under 5 years old), offering a variety of session times and free early years education for 3 and 4 year olds up to 15 hours per week, 38 weeks of the academic year.

We are registered as a Full Day Care provision with OFSTED.

SKIPS has very strong links with Ightham Primary School and works with other primary schools in the local villages of Borough Green; Wrotham; Plaxtol and Seal.

Parents and carers are invited to play an active role in this very important stage of your child’s development. During the year we will keep you up to date with the life and work of SKIPS with regular newsletters, informal chat, and our notice board. Shared information between home and SKIPS is important in order to attain the best understanding of your child.
